The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- Most are endemic to Mexico, but H. cyanoguttatus is also found in southern Texas and has been introduced to central Texas and Florida.
- In 2015, the genus was split in two, and seven species were moved into a new genus, Nosferatu.
- The validity of the move and newly erected genus was widely disputed by other ichthyologists in the field, consequently, the split was undone, and Nosferatu is no longer recognized as a valid genus by FishBase and Eschmeyer's Catalog of Fishes.
Why it is Common
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Herichthys article was read about 1,400 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 50 and blocks with 22: each hit it takes is cut by 9 %.
