The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- The translation was allegedly made by the Arian bishop and missionary Wulfila in the fourth century.
- In the late 2010s, scholarly opinion, based on analyzing the linguistic properties of the Gothic text, holds that the translation of the Bible into Gothic was not or not solely performed by Wulfila, or any one person, but rather by a team of scholars.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Gothic Bible article was read about 24,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 55 and blocks with 26: each hit it takes is cut by 10 %.
