The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- She is regarded as the first female photojournalist to have died while covering the frontline in a war.
- Taro was the companion and professional partner of photographer Robert Capa, who, like her, was Jewish.
- The name "Robert Capa" was originally an alias that Taro and Capa shared, an invention meant to mitigate the increasing political intolerance in Europe and to attract the lucrative American market.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Gerda Taro article was read about 40,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 70 and blocks with 64: each hit it takes is cut by 26 %.
