The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- He distinguished himself as a counsellor to King John II of Portugal and later in the wars against the Moors and in the conquest of Granada in 1492.
- In 1505 he was appointed as the first governor and viceroy of the Portuguese State of India.
- Almeida is credited with establishing Portuguese hegemony in the Indian Ocean with his victory at the naval Battle of Diu in 1509.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Francisco de Almeida article was read about 34,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 62 and blocks with 51: each hit it takes is cut by 20 %.
