The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- He received the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1963 "for his contributions to the theory of the atomic nucleus and the elementary particles, particularly through the discovery and application of fundamental symmetry principles".
- A graduate of the Technical Hochschule Berlin, Wigner worked as an assistant to Karl Weissenberg and Richard Becker at the Kaiser Wilhelm Institute in Berlin, and David Hilbert at the University of Göttingen.
- Wigner and Hermann Weyl were responsible for introducing group theory into physics, particularly the theory of symmetry in physics.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Eugene Wigner article was read about 94,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 76 and blocks with 81: each hit it takes is cut by 32 %.
