The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- During a 15-year Major League Baseball career, he pitched from 1953 to 1967 for seven different teams: the St. Louis Browns / Baltimore Orioles, New York Yankees, Kansas City Athletics, Chicago White Sox, San Francisco Giants, Houston Colt.45's / Astros, and Chicago Cubs.
- Larsen pitched the sixth perfect game in MLB history, doing so in Game 5 of the 1956 World Series.
- It is the only solo no-hitter and perfect game in World Series history and is one of only three no-hitters in MLB postseason history.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Don Larsen article was read about 61,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 72 and blocks with 80: each hit it takes is cut by 32 %.
