The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- By other authors, civil society is used in the sense of the aggregate of non-governmental organizations and institutions that advance the interests and will of citizens or individuals and organizations in a society which are independent of the government.
- Sometimes the term civil society is used in the more general sense of "the elements such as freedom of speech, an independent judiciary, etc., that make up a democratic society".
- Especially in the discussions among thinkers of Eastern and Central Europe, civil society is seen also as a normative concept of civic values.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Civil society article was read about 65,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 80 and blocks with 79: each hit it takes is cut by 32 %.
