The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- It reverses the direction of the Main Stem and the South Branch of the Chicago River, which now flows out of Lake Michigan rather than into it.
- The related Calumet-Sag Channel does the same for the Calumet River, 10 miles to the south, joining the Chicago canal about halfway along its route to the Des Plaines River.
- The canal was built to solve a public health problem.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Chicago Sanitary and Ship Canal article was read about 35,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 73 and blocks with 73: each hit it takes is cut by 29 %.
