The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- Unlike living odd-toed ungulates, chalicotheres bore large claws on their hands rather than hooves, thought to have been used for grasping vegetation, with their dentition being adapted for browsing on foliage as well as possibly bark and fruit.
- Chalicotheriidae is divided into two subfamilies, Chalicotheriinae and Schizotheriinae.
- While members of Schizotheriinae had body proportions resembling those of other ungulates, members of the subfamily Chalicotheriinae developed unusual elongated gorilla-like forelimbs.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Chalicotheriidae article was read about 30,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 63 and blocks with 86: each hit it takes is cut by 34 %.
