The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- It was the first object identified in the asteroid belt, discovered on 1 January 1801 by Giuseppe Piazzi at Palermo Astronomical Observatory in Sicily, and announced as a new planet.
- Ceres was later classified as an asteroid, and then more recently as the only confirmed dwarf planet within the asteroid belt, and the largest without a moon.
- It is also the only recognized dwarf planet in the solar system whose orbit lies within that of Neptune.
Why it is Epic
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Ceres article was read about 600,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 88 and blocks with 97: each hit it takes is cut by 39 %.
How to get Ceres
Open packs. Each pack holds five cards drawn from real Wikipedia articles, the rarest last, and the fifth card is always Rare or better. The odds are shown in the game. A free pack arrives every hour and two can wait, and the Coins you win in duels buy more packs.
