The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- Although a perennial plant, cassava is extensively cultivated in tropical and subtropical regions as an annual crop for its edible starchy tuberous root.
- Cassava is predominantly consumed in boiled form, but substantial quantities are processed to extract cassava starch, called tapioca, which is used for food, animal feed, and industrial purposes.
- The Brazilian farofa, and the related garri of West Africa, is an edible coarse flour obtained by grating cassava roots, pressing moisture off the obtained grated pulp, and finally drying and roasting it.
Why it is Epic
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Cassava article was read about 630,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 84 and blocks with 96: each hit it takes is cut by 38 %.
