The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- It was the only indigenous parrot within its range, and one of only three parrot species native to the United States.
- The others are the thick-billed parrot, now extirpated, and the green parakeet, still present in Texas.
- A fourth parrot species, the red-crowned amazon, is debated.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Carolina parakeet article was read about 130,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 71 and blocks with 74: each hit it takes is cut by 30 %.
