The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- Camera obscura refers to analogous constructions such as a darkened room, box or tent in which an exterior image is projected inside or onto a translucent screen viewed from outside.
- Camera obscuras with a lens in the opening have been used since the second half of the 16th century and became popular as aids for drawing and painting.
- The technology was developed further into the photographic camera in the first half of the 19th century, when camera obscura boxes were used to expose light-sensitive materials to the projected image.
Why it is Rare
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Camera obscura article was read about 260,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 82 and blocks with 88: each hit it takes is cut by 35 %.
