The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- It is one of two living members of the family Monodontidae, along with the narwhal, and the only member of the genus Delphinapterus.
- It is also known as the sea canary, due to its high-pitched calls, and the melonhead, though that more commonly refers to the melon-headed whale, which is an oceanic dolphin.
- The beluga is adapted to life in the Arctic, with anatomical and physiological characteristics that differentiate it from other cetaceans.
Why it is Rare
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Beluga whale article was read about 380,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 95 and blocks with 92: each hit it takes is cut by 37 %.
