The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- During sleep, there is a marked decrease in muscle activity and interactions with the surrounding environment.
- While sleep differs from wakefulness in terms of the ability to react to stimuli, it still involves active brain patterns, making it more reactive than a coma or disorders of consciousness.
- Sleep occurs in repeating periods, during which the body alternates between two distinct modes: rapid eye movement sleep and non-REM sleep.
Why it is Rare
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Sleep article was read about 300,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 88 and blocks with 99: each hit it takes is cut by 40 %.
How to get Sleep
Open packs. Each pack holds five cards drawn from real Wikipedia articles, the rarest last, and the fifth card is always Rare or better. The odds are shown in the game. A free pack arrives every hour and two can wait, and the Coins you win in duels buy more packs.
