The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- Following a 13-day siege, Mexican troops under President General Antonio López de Santa Anna reclaimed the Alamo Mission near San Antonio de Béxar.
- About one hundred Texians had been garrisoned at the mission, and they were supplemented by around one hundred subsequent reinforcements, led by eventual Alamo co-commanders James Bowie and William B. Travis.
- On February 23, approximately 1,500 Mexicans marched into San Antonio de Béxar as the first step in a campaign to retake Texas.
Why it is Epic
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Battle of the Alamo article was read about 870,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 83 and blocks with 100: each hit it takes is cut by 40 %.
