The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- He is generally remembered as the last great king of Assyria.
- Ashurbanipal inherited the throne as his father Esarhaddon‘s favored heir, his 38-year reign was among the longest of any Assyrian king.
- Though sometimes regarded as the apogee of ancient Assyria, his reign also marked the last time Assyrian armies waged war throughout the ancient Near East and the beginning of the end of Assyrian dominion over the region.
Why it is Rare
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Ashurbanipal article was read about 210,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 86 and blocks with 100: each hit it takes is cut by 40 %.
