The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- His Darwiniana was considered by some as an important explanation of how religion and science were not necessarily mutually exclusive.
- Gray was adamant that a genetic connection must exist between all members of a species.
- He was also strongly opposed to the ideas of hybridization within one generation and special creation in the sense of its not allowing for evolution.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Asa Gray article was read about 32,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 82 and blocks with 100: each hit it takes is cut by 40 %.
