The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- It firstly recommits the parties to the purposes of the United Nations, prohibiting the use of force or threats except in self-defence.
- The following provisions require the parties to maintain their "capacity to resist armed attack", consult with each other on security matters in the Pacific and declare that an armed attack on any of the parties "would be dangerous to [each signatory's] peace and safety" and that each signatory "would act to meet the common danger in accordance with its constitutional processes".
- It also provides for a council of the signatories foreign ministers, in which the implementation of the treaty can be discussed.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The ANZUS article was read about 56,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 75 and blocks with 66: each hit it takes is cut by 26 %.
