The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- The genus was first described by Henry Fairfield Osborn in 1924 with the type species A. mongoliensis based on a largely complete cranium.
- A second species, A. crassum, was described in 1977 based on teeth.
- A mandible, formerly described as Paratriisodon, probably belongs to the Andrewsarchus as well.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Andrewsarchus article was read about 110,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 69 and blocks with 70: each hit it takes is cut by 28 %.
