The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- It is the only extant species in the genus Opisthocomus which is the only extant genus in the family Opisthocomidae under the order Opisthocomiformes.
- Despite being the subject of intense debate by specialists, the taxonomic position of this family is still far from clear.
- The hoatzin is notable for its chicks having primitive claws on two of their wing digits.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Hoatzin article was read about 140,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 69 and blocks with 70: each hit it takes is cut by 28 %.
