The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- He was included in the canonical list of nine lyric poets by the scholars of Hellenistic Alexandria.
- He was a contemporary of Sappho, with whom he may have exchanged poems.
- He was born into the aristocratic governing class of Mytilene, the main city of Lesbos, where he was involved in political disputes and feuds.
Why it is Common
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Alcaeus article was read about 12,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 69 and blocks with 73: each hit it takes is cut by 29 %.
