The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- At times, the province included Mosul, Arminiya and Adharbayjan as sub-provinces.
- Following its conquest by the Muslim Arabs in 639/40, it became an administrative unit attached to the larger district of Jund Hims.
- It was separated from Hims during the reigns of caliphs Mu'awiya I or Yazid I and came under the jurisdiction of Jund Qinnasrin.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Al-Jazira article was read about 18,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 67 and blocks with 57: each hit it takes is cut by 23 %.
