The House of Al Bu Said, is the ruling royal family of Oman and the former ruling house of the Omani Empire, Sultanate of Muscat and Oman and the Sultanate of Zanzibar.It is composed of the descendants of Ahmad bin Said Al Busaidi, who founded the dynasty in 1744.
