The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- He is considered to have been one of the greatest players never to have become World Chess Champion.
- In his youth, he defeated top players José Raúl Capablanca and Carl Schlechter.
- He was scheduled to play a match with Emanuel Lasker for the World Chess Championship in 1914, but it was cancelled due to the outbreak of World War I. He was unable to re-create consistently the same form after the war, and his later life was plagued by mental illness.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Akiba Rubinstein article was read about 24,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 65 and blocks with 52: each hit it takes is cut by 21 %.
