How the cards are made
Every card is a real Wikipedia article, in English or in French: a short excerpt of the article, its photo from Wikimedia Commons and a link to the source.
Rarity follows a year of real Wikipedia page views: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic or Legendary. The odds of each rarity are shown in the game.
ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality. In a duel, six cards face six others, each round asks a question about the opposing card and you have 15 seconds to answer.
Content and licences are checked before a card enters the catalogue, and any card can be reported from inside the game.
The studio
IVRYN is an independent product studio founded in 2025 and based in Paris. It designs, builds and operates its own apps and sites, WikiCards among them. Victor Laybats founded the studio and runs it.
