The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- In 1945, after having been nominated by Albert Einstein, Pauli received the Nobel Prize in Physics "for the discovery of the Exclusion Principle, also called the Pauli Principle".
- The discovery involved spin theory, which is the basis of a theory of the structure of matter.
- To preserve the conservation of energy in beta decay, Pauli proposed the existence of a small neutral particle, dubbed the "neutrino" by Enrico Fermi, in 1930.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Wolfgang Pauli article was read about 140,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 73 and blocks with 73: each hit it takes is cut by 29 %.
