The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- More than thirty subspecies of Canis lupus have been recognized, including the dog and dingo, though grey wolves, as popularly understood, include only naturally occurring wild subspecies.
- The wolf is the largest wild extant member of the family Canidae, and is further distinguished from other Canis species by its less pointed ears and muzzle, as well as a shorter torso and a longer tail.
- The wolf is nonetheless related closely enough to smaller Canis species, such as the coyote and the golden jackal, to produce fertile hybrids with them.
Why it is Legendary
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Wolf article was read about 1,000,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 88 and blocks with 100: each hit it takes is cut by 40 %.
