The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- It lived throughout what is now western North America, on what was then an island continent known as Laramidia.
- Tyrannosaurus had a much wider range than other tyrannosaurids.
- Fossils are found in a variety of geological formations which have been dated to the late Maastrichtian age of the late Cretaceous period, 69 to 66 million years ago, with isolated specimens possibly indicating an earlier origin in the middle Campanian age.
Why it is Legendary
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Tyrannosaurus article was read about 1,100,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 97 and blocks with 93: each hit it takes is cut by 37 %.
