The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- The mask was invented by Moran Campbell at McMaster University Medical School as a replacement for intermittent oxygen treatment.
- Campbell was fond of quoting John Scott Haldane's description of intermittent oxygen treatment, "bringing a drowning man to the surface – occasionally".
- By contrast the venturi mask offered a constant supply of oxygen at a much more precise range of concentrations.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Venturi mask article was read about 38,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 46 and blocks with 31: each hit it takes is cut by 12 %.
