The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- It was the first of the jungle paintings for which the artist is chiefly known.
- It shows a tiger, illuminated by a flash of lightning, preparing to pounce on its prey in the midst of a raging gale.
- Unable to have a painting accepted by the jury of the Académie des Beaux-Arts, Rousseau exhibited Tiger in a Tropical Storm in 1891 under the title Surpris!, at the Salon des Indépendants, which was unjuried and open to all artists.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Tiger in a Tropical Storm article was read about 34,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 49 and blocks with 14: each hit it takes is cut by 6 %.
