The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- Many commentators have viewed that one of the main themes of The Prince is that immoral acts are sometimes necessary to achieve political glory.
- From Machiavelli's correspondence, a version was being written in 1513, using a Latin title, De Principatibus.
- However, the printed version was not published until 1532, five years after Machiavelli's death.
Why it is Rare
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The The Prince article was read about 410,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 84 and blocks with 84: each hit it takes is cut by 34 %.
