The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- Tabrobane is suggested to be derived from Prakrit and Pali "Tambapanni"., where the Sanskrit form of it is "Tamraparni".
- This name could be a reference to the "copper coloured" shores of Sri Lanka, connected to its civilisational origin story of Prince Vijaya and his followers, later forming the Sinhalese Kingdoms.
- The Ashokan edicts of his missionary activities also refers to the island by the name "Tambapanni".
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Taprobana article was read about 17,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 58 and blocks with 37: each hit it takes is cut by 15 %.
