The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- In the novel, Sun Wukong is an intelligent monkey born from a stone who acquires supernatural powers through Taoist practices and consuming heavenly victuals.
- After rebelling against heaven, he is imprisoned under a mountain by the Buddha.
- Five hundred years later, he accompanies the monk Tang Sanzang riding on the White Dragon Horse and two other disciples, Zhu Bajie and Sha Heshang, on a journey to obtain Buddhist sutras in the West or Western Paradise, where Buddha and his followers dwell.
Why it is Epic
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Sun Wukong article was read about 620,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 81 and blocks with 78: each hit it takes is cut by 31 %.
