The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- It is Plato's best-known work, and one of the world's most influential works of philosophy and political theory, both intellectually and historically.
- In the dialogue, Socrates discusses with various Athenians and foreigners the meaning of justice and whether the just man is happier than the unjust man.
- He considers the natures of existing regimes and then proposes a series of hypothetical cities in comparison, culminating in Kallipolis, a utopian city-state ruled by a class of philosopher-kings.
Why it is Rare
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Republic article was read about 290,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 80 and blocks with 70: each hit it takes is cut by 28 %.
