The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- They were built by CAF and Macosa under license from Mitsubishi.
- After the turn of the millennium RENFE began to sell some, three even went to Chile.
- A large number was withdrawn around 2015 after they had been replaced by more modern and more powerful locomotives with three-phase traction motors, most notably the series 252 and 253.
Why it is Common
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Renfe Class 269 article was read about 3,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 49 and blocks with 32: each hit it takes is cut by 13 %.
