The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- The equipment that connects the couplers to the vehicles is the draft gear or draw gear, which must absorb the stresses from coupling and the train's acceleration.
- Throughout the history of rail vehicles, a variety of coupler designs and types have been developed worldwide.
- Key design considerations include strength, reliability, ease and efficiency of handling, and operator safety.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Railway coupling article was read about 64,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 81 and blocks with 85: each hit it takes is cut by 34 %.
