The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- Tradition says he was ordered to preach the Christian faith by James the Great, and that Peter of Rates was martyred while attempting to convert the locals to the Christian faith in northern Portugal.
- The ancient Breviary of Braga and the Breviary of Evora hold that Peter of Rates was a disciple of James and preached in Braga.
- However, the Bollandists say that this claim is "purely traditional."
Why it is Common
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Peter of Rates article was read about 2,100 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 46 and blocks with 25: each hit it takes is cut by 10 %.
