The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- Excluding zoomusicological instruments and the human voice, the percussion family is believed to include the oldest musical instruments.
- In spite of being a very common term to designate instruments, and to relate them to their players, the percussionists, percussion is not a systematic classificatory category of instruments, as described by the scientific field of organology.
- It is shown below that percussion instruments may belong to the organological classes of idiophone, membranophone, aerophone and chordophone.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Percussion instrument article was read about 120,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 66 and blocks with 49: each hit it takes is cut by 20 %.
