The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- Early pens such as reed pens, quill pens, dip pens and ruling pens held a small amount of ink on a nib or in a small void or cavity that had to be periodically recharged by dipping the tip of the pen into an inkwell.
- Today, such pens find only a small number of specialized uses, such as in illustration and calligraphy.
- Reed pens, quill pens and dip pens, which were used for writing, have been replaced by ballpoint pens, rollerball pens, fountain pens and felt or ceramic tip pens.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Pen article was read about 95,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 70 and blocks with 59: each hit it takes is cut by 24 %.
How to get Pen
Open packs. Each pack holds five cards drawn from real Wikipedia articles, the rarest last, and the fifth card is always Rare or better. The odds are shown in the game. A free pack arrives every hour and two can wait, and the Coins you win in duels buy more packs.
