The facts on the card

- It arose in Beijing in the mid-Qing dynasty and became fully developed and recognized by the mid-19th century.
- The form was extremely popular in the Qing court and has come to be regarded as one of the cultural treasures of China.
- Major performance troupes are based in Beijing, Tianjin and Shanghai.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Peking opera article was read about 78,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 81 and blocks with 91: each hit it takes is cut by 36 %.
