The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- Designed by local architect John Leopold Denman and paid for by public subscription, they commemorated the extension of the County Borough of Brighton on 1 April 1928, and stood close to the new northern boundary.
- The gateway consists of two stone towers known locally as "the Pylons", with built-in seats around their bases.
- They still stand and are clearly visible to travellers on either carriageway of the A23 road to London.
Why it is Common
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Patcham Pylons article was read about 670 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 50 and blocks with 38: each hit it takes is cut by 15 %.
