The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- The ditch supplied water from the East Fork of the Illinois River to the High Gravel and Cameron mines, two hydraulic mines that conducted placer gold mining operations in the Upper Illinois Valley.
- The ditch was dug around 1900, at the same time that the High Gravel Mine was built.
- It took its name from F.H. Osgood, who purchased the mine shortly after its construction and expanded the ditch.
Why it is Common
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Osgood Ditch article was read about 240 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 37 and blocks with 23: each hit it takes is cut by 9 %.
