The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- It was formed in May 1941, and covered northern Australia and Papua.
- Headquartered at Townsville, Queensland, Northern Area Command was responsible for air defence, aerial reconnaissance and protection of the sea lanes within its boundaries.
- In January 1942, following the outbreak of the Pacific War, it was divided into North-Western and North-Eastern Area Commands, to counter Japanese threats to northern Australia and Papua, respectively.
Why it is Common
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Northern Area Command article was read about 320 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 58 and blocks with 41: each hit it takes is cut by 16 %.
