The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- It includes five extant vultures and two extant condors found in the Americas.
- They are known as "New World" vultures to distinguish them from Old World vultures, with which the Cathartidae does not form a single clade despite the two being similar in appearance and behavior as a result of convergent evolution.
- Like other vultures, New World vultures are scavengers, having evolved to feed off of the carcasses of dead animals without any notable ill effects.
Why it is Uncommon
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The New World vulture article was read about 96,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 74 and blocks with 90: each hit it takes is cut by 36 %.
