The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- Prior to its closure, it was the oldest operational prison in New Zealand, with roots dating back to a wooden military hospital built in the 1850s.
- The prison is considered a place of high cultural and historical importance due to its association with penal reform in New Zealand, and its layout reflecting 19th-century punishment policies.
Why it is Common
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The New Plymouth Prison article was read about 420 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 52 and blocks with 31: each hit it takes is cut by 12 %.
