The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- The colliery opened in the 1870s in the grounds of the now-demolished Fryston Hall and was named Fryston, and the village was built in the 1880s to house some of the miners.
- At its peak, the pit employed around 1,300 miners.
- It closed in 1985.
Why it is Common
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The New Fryston article was read about 780 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 41 and blocks with 32: each hit it takes is cut by 13 %.
