The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- Written in medieval Judeo-Yemeni Arabic, the text was a response to Bahya ibn Paquda's book Duties of the Heart which was composed to counter some of ibn Paquda's claims about the tenents and principles of Rabbinic Judaism.
- For example, al-Fayyumi wrote in the third chapter that God's unity is far greater than that described by ibn Paquda.
- Al-Fayyumi was influenced by Ismaʿili Islam, and specifically by Tayyibi Isma'ilism, the faith of the Banu Hamdan dynasties ruling most of contemporary South Arabia during his lifetime.
Why it is Common
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Natan'el al-Fayyumi article was read about 4,300 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 53 and blocks with 25: each hit it takes is cut by 10 %.
