The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- The dam was built in 1864–65 by the Charlestown Water Commission as part of a water supply system.
- It was located at a narrow point between the Lower and Upper Mystic Lakes, with its west end in Arlington and its east end in Medford.
- The water system it was a part of eventually merged into the Metropolitan District Commission, predecessor to the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority and the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation.
Why it is Common
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Mystic Dam article was read about 740 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 48 and blocks with 43: each hit it takes is cut by 17 %.
How to get Mystic Dam
Open packs. Each pack holds five cards drawn from real Wikipedia articles, the rarest last, and the fifth card is always Rare or better. The odds are shown in the game. A free pack arrives every hour and two can wait, and the Coins you win in duels buy more packs.
