The facts on the card
The card carries these facts from its Wikipedia article.
- He is the son of Jupiter and Juno, and was pre-eminent among the Roman army's military gods.
- Most of his festivals were held in March, the month named for him, and in October, the months which traditionally began and ended the season for both military campaigning and farming.
- Under the influence of Greek culture, Mars was identified with the Greek god Ares, whose myths were reinterpreted in Roman literature and art under the name of Mars.
Why it is Rare
Rarity in WikiCards follows a year of Wikipedia page views: the most read articles become Epic and Legendary cards. The Mars article was read about 270,000 times in a year. ATK comes from the length of the article and DEF from its quality, so this card hits with 85 and blocks with 100: each hit it takes is cut by 40 %.
How to get Mars
Open packs. Each pack holds five cards drawn from real Wikipedia articles, the rarest last, and the fifth card is always Rare or better. The odds are shown in the game. A free pack arrives every hour and two can wait, and the Coins you win in duels buy more packs.
